The Simplex Single Action Replacement Pull Station Cover is a direct-fit replacement for Simplex 2099 and 4099 series single-action manual pull stations. Specifically, it restores the front housing on stations damaged by vandalism, accidental impact, or general wear.
In addition, the cover is sold as a housing component only. As a result, no electronic switch or contact block is included. Therefore, the existing internal mechanism is reused.
When to Use the Simplex Single Action Replacement Pull Station Cover
First, check whether the existing pull station is a single-action 2099 or 4099 series unit. Furthermore, verify that the original switch and contact assembly are still serviceable. If both conditions are met, this cover restores the appearance and function of the station.
However, if the internal switch has failed, the entire pull station should be replaced instead. Also, double-action stations (e.g. Simplex 4099-9001) use a different housing and are not compatible with this cover.
