Silent Knight (SK-CONTROL) Control module

The Silent Knight SK-CONTROL is an addressable notification module for IntelliKnight fire alarm control panels. It adds a supervised notification circuit anywhere on the panel’s SLC loop. In other words, you can run bells, horns, or strobes from an external power supply. The module supervises that wiring and switches it on command.

Upon command from the FACP, the SK-CONTROL disconnects supervision and connects the external supply to the load. As a result, the panel gets positive confirmation that the relay actually operated. Furthermore, the external supply stays relay-isolated from the SLC loop. A power supply trouble therefore never interferes with the rest of the system.

Compatibility and Installation

The SK-CONTROL works with IntelliKnight 5700, 5808, 5820XL, and 5820XL-EVS panels. It mounts in a 4-inch square electrical box. The box needs a minimum depth of 2-1/8 inches. Alternatively, use the System Sensor SMB500 surface-mount box.
