System Sensor SPSRL SpectrAlert Advanced Speaker-Strobe — Red Wall Mount

The System Sensor SPSRL is a SpectrAlert Advanced speaker-strobe combination notification appliance for wall-mount fire alarm use. First, the device combines an audible speaker with a synchronized strobe in a single red housing. As a result, one device covers both ADA visual signaling and emergency voice / tone audible output.

Specifically, the SPSRL is the red wall-mount variant in the SpectrAlert Advanced speaker-strobe family. Therefore, it fits indoor commercial notification circuits where voice evacuation is required.

How the System Sensor SPSRL Works

The speaker section accepts a 25 V or 70.7 V audio signal from a fire alarm voice amplifier. Furthermore, field-selectable taps let the installer set the wattage level for the space. The strobe section runs on a separate 24 VDC notification appliance circuit with field-selectable candela.

In addition, the SPSRL synchronizes its strobe flash with other System Sensor SpectrAlert Advanced devices on the same NAC. Therefore, multiple-device flash patterns remain ADA-compliant across a room.
