The Mircom SR-2400MI-GR-MP is the multi-protocol mullion-mount version of the SR-2400 125 kHz proximity card reader. It pairs with the TX3-series access controllers and other Wiegand-compatible panels.
First, the reader broadcasts a low-frequency RF field. Then, it picks up the credential code and sends it to the panel over Wiegand. As a result, residents and staff tap a card or fob and the door releases — no PIN needed.
