STI (EFAPBKT) Stationary Panel Bracket Kit

The STI EFAPBKT stationary panel bracket kit mounts a back panel inside an STI EnviroArmour fiberglass enclosure. First, install the bracket kit on the enclosure’s interior corner posts. Then attach the back panel to the brackets. As a result, the panel mounts at a fixed height and orientation, leaving the enclosure door clear for full access.

What EFAPBKT is built for

STI EnviroArmour fiberglass enclosures house fire alarm control panels, remote annunciators, and other electronics that need protection from weather, vandalism, dust, and impact. However, the enclosures ship without internal mounting hardware. Therefore, the EFAPBKT (and the swing-panel EFSPBKT alternative) is the bracket kit that adapts an STI fiberglass back panel to the enclosure’s mounting points.

Alternatively, the EFSPBKT is the swing-panel version: it lets the back panel hinge out for service access to the enclosure rear wall. Furthermore, for STI’s polycarbonate enclosures (EP-prefix), the equivalent swing-panel bracket is the EPSPBKT — not the EFSPBKT.

Specify the EFAPBKT when the enclosure houses a single back panel that mounts in a fixed position. However, when multiple back panels stack inside one enclosure, each panel needs its own bracket kit plus a corner post kit to vary heights. As a result, the EFAPBKT is most often ordered alongside a matching BPF-series back panel and (for stacked installations) a corner post kit.
