The STI STI-V34104 is a 4-channel wireless voice receiver in the STI Wireless Alert Series. First, it pairs with up to four sensors or keyfobs. Then, each channel can trigger a tone, tune, or spoken phrase. As a result, alerts are clear and easy to distinguish.
STI STI-V34104 audio and indicators
First, the receiver offers ten tones or tunes. In addition, it ships with 53 selectable words in English and Spanish. Furthermore, words can be combined in sets of four to build a custom message per channel. Also, each of the four zone LEDs can be set to latching or momentary.
Range and supervision
First, the receiver operates at 433 MHz. Specifically, line-of-sight range reaches up to 1,000 ft. In addition, the unit supervises sensors for low battery and connection. Therefore, missed transmissions are surfaced rather than silent.
Power, mounting, and listing
First, power comes from a 12 VDC, 500 mA adapter (included). Alternatively, a 3 V lithium battery can be used. Then, the unit mounts to a wall or sits on a desk with the provided stand. The receiver is intended for indoor use. STI lists the V34104 to UL Class II and FCC, and backs it with a one-year warranty.
