The System Sensor LENS-AC is an amber colored lens attachment for ceiling-mount strobes. First, it snaps onto a plain ceiling strobe to change its output color to amber. As a result, a standard strobe can provide colored signaling instead.
Amber lenses are for non-fire applications only. Specifically, they support mass notification, severe weather warning, and general emergency response. They are not used for standard fire alarm notification, which requires clear or white strobes.
Where the System Sensor LENS-AC fits
The lens attaches to plain, non “FIRE” marked SpectrAlert Advance ceiling strobes, horn strobes, speaker strobes, and strobe-only devices. In addition, it suits indoor and outdoor ceiling installations.
