The System Sensor (PC2RLED) is a 2-wire ceiling-mount horn strobe in red. It uses the L-Series with LED platform. As a result, it draws less current than older xenon strobes.
In addition, lower current draw improves notification circuit design. It also reduces power supply requirements. Therefore, installations stay simpler and more cost-effective.
Flexible, Field-Selectable Settings
First, a rotary switch selects the candela setting. Ceiling options include 15, 30, 75, 95, 115, 150, and 177 candela. Then separate switches set tone and volume. As a result, one device covers many applications.
This horn strobe operates on 24 VDC only. The horn produces 88+ dBA at 16 volts. Furthermore, it is electrically compatible with legacy SpectrAlert, SpectrAlert Advance, and L-Series devices.
Built for Fast, Reliable Installation
The L-Series with LED line simplifies installation. Specifically, every device uses a plug-in design with minimal back-box intrusion. As a result, installs go quickly while ground faults are nearly eliminated.
In addition, the universal mounting plate includes an onboard shorting spring. Therefore, installers can test wiring continuity before mounting the device. Also, DVM test points on the face allow voltage checks without removing the appliance.
