The Vesda VLQ-100 is an aspirating smoke detector with onboard relays. Specifically, it draws air through a sampling pipe network for very early warning. First, sampling holes collect air from the protected area. Then, a laser detection chamber analyzes that air for smoke.
This model suits small areas up to 100 m² (1,000 ft²). As a result, it fits compact rooms and equipment spaces. In addition, it offers both high and normal sensitivity. Therefore, it adapts to many environments.
Vesda VLQ-100 relays and operation
The VLQ-100 includes pre-alarm, alarm, and fault relays. Furthermore, resetting the detector returns the relays to their normal state. Also, the detector runs stand-alone, straight out of the box. For example, a single unit can protect one small zone with a simplified pipe network.
