The Vesda VP-UNION is a CPVC socket union for aspirating smoke detection pipe. Specifically, it joins two 3/4″ sampling pipe sections in a VESDA network. First, the union bonds over the pipe ends. Then, it creates a serviceable connection point.
This fitting uses CPVC construction to match standard VESDA sampling pipe. As a result, it integrates cleanly into the pipe run. In addition, it ships in a box of 10. Therefore, it supports larger installations in one order.
