The Potter Electric Signal VFM is the flush mount kit for the Potter VSA Series vault sound alarm system. First, the VFM provides recess-mount hardware. Specifically, it fits the VSA-1 controller or the VSM microphone into a vault wall. Then, the kit conceals the device behind the finished wall surface. As a result, the VFM keeps the vault’s interior visually clean while preserving acoustic coverage.
Potter Electric Signal VFM compatibility
The VFM is designed for the Potter VSA series. Specifically, the kit fits the VSA-1 controller/microphone and the companion VSM microphone. In addition, it works in vaults where surface-mount installation is not desirable. Therefore, the VFM lets integrators preserve a clean wall finish in bank, mercantile, and high-security vault spaces.
System role
The VFM does not add any electronics. Specifically, it is a passive mounting accessory. As a result, all UL listings, electrical specifications, and supervisory functions remain with the host VSA-1 or VSM device. However, correct backbox preparation and gasket placement are essential for tamper integrity.
