VESDA LaserFOCUS 250 Aspirating Smoke Detector
The VESDA LaserFOCUS 250 (VLF-250-00) is an aspirating smoke detector for small, business-critical spaces. Specifically, it protects areas up to 250 m². A fan draws air through sampling pipes into the detector. Then laser light-scattering technology senses smoke.
This early-warning approach detects smoke before many traditional point detectors. As a result, staff gain more time to respond. In addition, the unit offers multiple sensitivity levels for graded alarm response.
VESDA LaserFOCUS 250 Detection Performance
The detector runs on a 24 VDC supply. Furthermore, it provides four alarm thresholds: Alert, Action, Fire 1, and Fire 2. Alert and Action settings range from 0.025 to 2.00% obscuration per meter. Fire 1 and Fire 2 settings range from 0.025 to 20.00% obs/m.
