The Wheelock EL3RHS-FR is a NEMA 3R rated outdoor horn strobe. It belongs to Eaton’s Eluxa weatherproof notification line. Specifically, this model pairs a high-output horn with a clear-lens LED strobe. As a result, it delivers both audible and visual alerts. Weatherproof Design
First, the NEMA 3R / IP54 enclosure resists rain, sleet, and windblown dust. Therefore, it performs in covered outdoor and wet indoor areas. In addition, the unit operates from -40°F to 150°F. The UV-stabilized engineered plastic also withstands long sun exposure.
Signaling Performance
The strobe offers six field-selectable candela settings: 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, and 185 cd. Installers choose candela in the field, so one model fits many layouts. Furthermore, the LED strobe flashes for 20 ms, meeting NFPA 72 timing. The device runs on 24 VDC.
