The Simplex 4010 network card connects a 4010ES panel to a Simplex fire alarm network. This modular network interface card, the 4010-9817, hosts the panel’s media modules. As a result, distributed panels communicate as one system.
About the Simplex 4010 Network Card
First, the 4010-9817 installs as the panel’s network interface module. Then it accepts up to two media cards. For wire connections, use the 4010-9818 wired media card. Alternatively, the 4010-9819 fiber-optic media card supports fiber links.
This design lets one 4010ES join a multi-panel network. Therefore operators monitor and control every panel from one location.
