The Edwards (GCTW) is a white ceiling trim plate for the Edwards GC Series notification appliance line. The trim plate covers the cutout around a ceiling-mounted strobe or horn/strobe. As a result, the finished installation looks clean against the surrounding ceiling material.
Field installations often need cosmetic finish hardware separately from the notification device. In addition, the trim plate fits ceiling cutouts that are larger than the strobe footprint. Therefore, the GCTW gives installers a way to dress up the opening without changing the device or its mounting box.

The GCTW is matched to the Edwards Genesis GC Series ceiling-mount notification appliances. First, specify the underlying strobe or horn/strobe. Then, add the trim plate in the color that matches the ceiling. Specifically, the GCTW is the white finish; a red variant is available as a separate part number for fire-rated finishes.
However, the trim plate is a cosmetic accessory only. It does not change the notification appliance’s listing, candela output, or NAC behavior.
