The Mircom GL-007K is the replacement acrylic break-glass rod for Mircom MS-700 series manual pull stations. It is sold as a service consumable.
What the Mircom GL-007K Replaces
First, MS-700 series stations use a glass rod that breaks when the lever is pulled. Then, after each activation or test, the broken rod must be swapped for a fresh one. As a result, facilities that test or accidentally trigger their pull stations need GL-007K stock on hand.
In addition, the rod is acrylic rather than tempered glass. Therefore, it breaks cleanly without sharp shards.
Compatibility
The GL-007K fits Mircom MS-700 series manual pull stations only. However, it is not a cross-fit for other manufacturers’ pull stations — confirm the existing station is in the MS-700 family before ordering quantity.
Typical Use
Order the GL-007K as a maintenance consumable, after a station test, or following any verified or unintentional activation. Also, fire alarm contractors typically keep a small quantity in truck stock for service calls.
