The System Sensor SPCWL-BP10 is a bulk pack of ten white L-Series ceiling speakers. First, each unit delivers evacuation voice and tone audio. Specifically, the bulk pack streamlines large notification projects. As a result, contractors stock multiple speakers in one order.
System Sensor SPCWL-BP10 features
Each L-Series speaker is a dual-voltage transformer model. Therefore, it operates at either 25 or 70.7 Vrms. In addition, a rotary switch selects the power tap. Installers choose 1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watts. Also, the frequency range covers 400 to 4,000 Hz.
At 2 watts, each speaker reaches 88 dBA at 10 feet. Lower taps measure 85, 82, and 79 dBA. Furthermore, the speakers are listed to UL 1480 for fire protective service. However, these units include no strobe.
Installation and specifications
First, the plug-in design and protective cover reduce ground faults. Then a universal mounting plate lets you pre-wire and test continuity. Finally, you hinge the speaker into place and secure it. As a result, no extension ring is required for flush mounts.
Each white speaker measures 6.8 inches in diameter and 1.0 inch deep. In addition, it mounts to a 4 x 4 x 2-1/8 inch back box. Operating range spans 32F to 120F at up to 93% humidity.
