VESDA VBT-012 Battery Overview

The VESDA VBT-012 battery is a sealed lead acid backup battery for VESDA aspirating smoke detection systems. It supplies 12 VDC at 12 amp-hours. Technicians install these batteries in pairs. As a result, two units are required per detector.

This battery delivers standby power during a primary power loss. Therefore, the detection system keeps running through an outage. The sealed lead acid design needs little maintenance. In addition, it provides steady, reliable output.
