The Vesda VSP-715 is the factory spare aspirator for VESDA VLF-250 and VLF-500 air-sampling smoke detectors. First, the aspirator is the small motorized fan that pulls room air through the detector’s sampling pipe network. As a result, replacing a worn aspirator restores the original sampling airflow.

Specifically, the VSP-715 is the spare service part — not a standalone detector. Therefore, it installs into an existing VLF-250 or VLF-500 unit during scheduled service.

When to Replace the Vesda VSP-715
