The Edwards 3-CAB7D is the outer door for the 3-CAB7B EST3 wallbox in textured gray. First, the door mounts to the front of the 3-CAB7B wallbox. Then, the contoured profile and integral viewing window present a finished face to the lobby or corridor. As a result, occupants can see the EST3 panel’s status indicators through the window.
Specifically, the “D” suffix designates the door-only assembly. Therefore, replace a damaged or missing door without swapping the entire wallbox. In addition, the red variant (3-CAB7DR) is available where AHJ or specification calls for a red enclosure face.
Edwards 3-CAB7D construction
The door is fabricated from #14 AWG cold-rolled steel with a baked enamel finish. Furthermore, the gray textured enamel matches the standard 3-CAB7B wallbox color. Also, the door uses the modern contoured profile introduced with the EST3 cabinet family.
