The RSG RMS-6P-WP weatherproof pull station is a DPDT pigtail-connection unit. Specifically, the WP option seals the housing for outdoor and washdown locations. Furthermore, it shares the standard RMS lever motion in a gasketed enclosure.
First, the gasketed cover seals the lever and contact assembly. Then, the lever pulls down through the WP cover to activate the alarm. As a result, the station holds up to weather and moisture exposure.
In addition, the DPDT contacts can drive two independent circuits or polarities. However, RSG publishes “weatherproof” rather than a specific NEMA listing. Therefore, confirm AHJ acceptance for the intended environment.
