RSG RMS-6P-GCS DPDT Pull Station with Gold Contacts

The RSG RMS-6P-GCS is a DPDT pigtail-connection pull station with a Gold Contact Switch for low-current signaling. Specifically, the GCS suffix configures the gold contact switch. Furthermore, the DPDT contacts work with conventional and addressable initiating circuits.

First, the lever pulls down to operate the switch. Then, the gold-plated contacts close the supervisory loop. As a result, addressable panels see a clean low-current signal.

In addition, the contacts can wire as normally-open or normally-closed. However, GCS is intended for low-current supervisory circuits, not high-amperage loads. Therefore, follow the panel manufacturer’s initiating-device current limits.

The GCS option pairs the with gold-plated low-current signaling contacts. Furthermore, this combination suits addressable and supervised-loop initiating circuits. As a result, the station maintains reliable contact closure even after long idle periods.
