RSG RMS-6P-WP-PS Pull Station with Pre-Signal

The RSG RMS-6P-WP-PS is a DPDT pigtail-connection weatherproof pull station with a Pre-Signal option. Specifically, the PS suffix supports two-stage alarm sequencing at the panel. Furthermore, the WP housing seals everything against outdoor exposure.

First, the user pulls the lever to initiate a pre-signal. Then, the control panel must be programmed for two-stage operation. As a result, building staff can investigate before general evacuation.

In addition, the DPDT contacts can drive separate panel inputs simultaneously. However, two-stage logic still belongs at the fire alarm control panel. Therefore, confirm AHJ acceptance and panel programming before specifying.

RSG RMS-6P-WP-PS Option Detail

The PS option supports a pre-signal/two-stage operating sequence. Furthermore, the DPDT contacts support two independent contact circuits. As a result, one weatherproof device can drive a pre-signal input and a general-alarm input independently.

Compatible Accessories

For surface mounting outdoors, use the RMS-WP-BB weatherproof back box. Alternatively, use the RMS-DBB deep back box where extra depth is needed. In addition, the RMS-GR glass rod is the standard replacement rod for break-glass operation.
