Fireray (0201-01-A) Fireray 2000 beam alignment aid – for quick alignment of beam detector transmitter and receiver heads.

The Fireray 0201-01-A is the factory beam alignment aid for the Fireray 2000 optical beam smoke detector. Specifically, it speeds the optical alignment between the transmitter head and the receiver head. As a result, one technician can complete an alignment that would otherwise require two. In addition, the same tool helps with periodic re-alignment during service.

How the Fireray 0201-01-A is used

The alignment aid attaches at the receiver head end of the beam path. Then the installer sights along the path to find the transmitter. First, coarse alignment puts the heads visually on axis. Then fine alignment uses the detector’s on-board signal strength feedback. Therefore, an installer can finish the alignment from a single ladder position.

Compatibility

Use the 0201-01-A with the Fireray 2000 reflective beam detector. Note that the 0201-01-A is not used with the Fireray 50/100, Fireray 3000, or Fireray One.
