The Edwards 3-CAB14B is an EST3 lobby-enclosure wallbox with two chassis spaces (14 module positions total). First, the wallbox mounts semi-flush in a wall opening or surface-mounts to a finished wall. Then, the EST3 chassis, power supply, and modules drop into the wallbox. As a result, the 3-CAB14B is the structural foundation for a medium-size EST3 panel installation.
Specifically, the “B” suffix designates the wallbox-only (no door, no chassis included). Therefore, order the matching door (3-CAB14D for gray, 3-CAB14DR for red) and the appropriate chassis modules separately. In addition, the contoured profile matches the rest of the EST3 cabinet family.
Edwards 3-CAB14B construction
The wallbox is fabricated from #14 AWG cold-rolled steel with a gray baked-enamel finish. Furthermore, both surface and semi-flush mounting are supported from the same part. Also, knockout provisions accommodate the typical conduit landings for an EST3 lobby panel.
