The Edwards 3-SSDC2 is a Single Signature Driver Controller for EST3 fire alarm systems. It drives one Signature Series addressable device circuit. As a result, connected detectors and modules communicate with the panel.
First, the 3-SSDC2 installs as a local rail module inside an EST3 cabinet. Then it manages signaling for the Signature devices on its circuit. In addition, it serves as a direct replacement for the earlier 3-SSDC1 controller.
