The Simplex 4003-9830 is a surface-mount simplex local operator console for the 4003EC voice system.
Specifically, it houses the Local Operator Console (LOC) behind its door. First, technicians field-install the LOC inside the 4003-9830 surface enclosure. Then operators use it to manage emergency voice functions right at the panel.
