The Simplex 4100-1297 is a firefighter phone controller module for 4100ES and 4100U panels.
It manages addressable firefighter telephone communication from the panel. Specifically, the card controls ATM-500 addressable phone controllers. As a result, fire crews can talk between the panel and remote phone jacks during an emergency.
Simplex 4100-1297 capacity
Each card supports up to 30 addressable ATM-500 phones. In addition, those phones can sit on one riser or spread across three riser circuits. The card also supports an unlimited number of phone jacks.
Addressing
An eight-position DIP switch (SW1) configures the card. First, SW1-1 sets the baud rate for the internal 4100 communication line. Then SW1-2 through SW1-8 set the card’s address within the panel.
