Installation Notes for Genesis 52505501
First, this is an audio/sound cable, NOT a fire alarm cable. Therefore, do NOT use it on UL 1424 power-limited fire alarm circuits. Then, CL3R allows install in risers and general non-plenum spaces. However, this cable is NOT plenum-rated. As a result, do not install it in air-handling spaces per NEC 300.22(C). For 70V distributed audio, observe the panel manufacturer’s wire-size and impedance recommendations.
