The Air Products (477-824) PAM-SD is a multi-voltage relay module. It provides one SPDT dry Form “C” contact for fire alarm control. First, an input voltage energizes the relay coil. Then, the contact switches an auxiliary circuit. The PAM-SD suits 24VDC notification appliance circuits.

The coil accepts 20 to 32VDC and is polarity-sensitive and diode-protected. Current draw is 15mA at 24VDC and 25mA at 32VDC. In addition, the Form “C” contact is rated 7A. It carries 7A at 24VDC and 7A at 120VAC.
The PAM-SD adds a redundant set of input leads. As a result, it can pass circuit supervision through the module. It ships with seven 12-inch, 18 AWG flying leads. Also, wire-nuts and mounting hardware are included.
Construction and listings
The module is 100% potted for durability. It measures 1.50″ H x 1.20″ W x 0.77″ D. The operating range is 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C). Furthermore, it is listed to UL 864 and accepted by CSFM and MEA.
