The Altronix AL600ULX is a UL 294 and UL 1481 dual-listed 12/24VDC power supply and charger. Specifically, it delivers a single non-power-limited output at up to 6 A continuous, in a gray Altronix cabinet.
First, the AL600ULX converts 115VAC, 60Hz mains into a selectable 12VDC or 24VDC bus. Then, an integrated charger maintains a sealed lead-acid or gel backup battery. In addition, the supply transitions to battery on AC loss with zero voltage drop. As a result, the AL600ULX supports access-control, intrusion, and fire protective signaling loads from a single workhorse unit. Therefore, integrators often standardize on it for mixed-use installations.
