The Altronix AL600ULXPD4CB is a UL 294 and UL 1481 dual-listed power supply with a PD4ULCB distribution module. Specifically, it splits a single 12 or 24VDC bus into four PTC-protected, auto-resettable Class 2 power-limited outputs.
First, the AL600ULXPD4CB converts 115VAC, 60Hz mains into a selectable 12VDC or 24VDC bus. Then, the on-board PD4ULCB sub-assembly fans that bus out to four 2.5 A PTC outputs. In addition, the larger “X” enclosure accommodates two 12VDC/12 AH batteries for extended standby. As a result, integrators get distribution and backup in one box.

Furthermore, the AL600ULX series carries UL 294 (Access Control System Units) and UL 1481 (Power Supplies for Fire Protective Signaling Systems). Also, cUL recognition covers CSA C22.2 No. 205. However, FM Approval applies only to the base AL600ULX, not to the PD4CB variant. Therefore, consult the installation guide for fire-alarm derating before specifying it on a UL 1481 application.
