The Edwards ANSREMSUP is a supervisory card for ANS remote microphones. Specifically, it mounts inside an ANS25, ANS50, or ANS100 master panel. Then it supervises the wiring to remote microphones (ANSREMG or ANSREMR) at distant locations.
Each ANSREMSUP card supports up to five remote microphone panels. Furthermore, the cable run can reach 5,000 feet (1,524 m). As a result, voice paging is available from points well away from the central audio panel.
Edwards ANSREMSUP Function
The card uses 3-pair shielded cable to connect each remote microphone. In addition, it reports wiring faults through the same supervisory path as the ANS master panel. Therefore the fire alarm control panel receives any open, short, or ground-fault condition.

Application Notes
Use the ANSREMSUP whenever a building requires remote paging stations. Specifically, the card is required even with a single remote microphone. Also, when paired with the ANSZSR relay card, microphones can be assigned to specific zones.
