The Fire-Lite B210W is a 6-inch wireless detector base for the SWIFT wireless mesh. Specifically, it accepts compatible Fire-Lite SWIFT wireless detectors. In addition, it includes a built-in magnet used during installation.
Therefore, the magnet helps each wireless detector establish its installed and tampered states. As a result, the panel can supervise device presence on the wireless mesh.
How the Fire-Lite B210W Fits Into a SWIFT System
SWIFT is Fire-Lite’s wireless detection technology. First, the W-GATE gateway connects to the panel’s SLC. Then, wireless detectors mounted in B210W bases form a self-healing Class A mesh.
Furthermore, the W-USB dongle and SWIFT Tools software handle commissioning. As a result, the B210W base ties each wireless detector to the SWIFT network.
Mounting and Compatibility
The B210W is a 6-inch base. Therefore, it covers most standard junction boxes. In addition, it provides the mechanical and magnetic interface a SWIFT detector needs.
Also, the same physical base is sold by System Sensor and other Honeywell brands. As a result, the Fire-Lite B210W is functionally identical to the equivalent SWIFT base from those families.
