The Mircom BB-700 is a red surface-mount backbox for Mircom MS-700 series manual pull stations. First, the steel enclosure measures 5″H × 3.6″W × 2.0″D. Then it mounts directly to a finished wall surface. As a result, contractors avoid cutting in a flush single-gang box during retrofit work.
Mircom BB-700 dimensions and finish
The housing is steel with a red powder-coat finish. In addition, it accepts the full MS-700U manual-station family. Specifically, this includes single-action and dual-action pull stations. Therefore, the BB-700 supports both new construction and retrofit installs.
What it is not
The BB-700 is a sheet-metal enclosure only. However, it carries no UL signaling listing of its own. Furthermore, it does not include the pull station itself. Also, the weatherproof variant is the BB-700WP (2.2″ depth, gasketed).
