The Bosch D7050 is a two-wire photoelectric smoke detector head designed for Bosch fire alarm systems. It uses light-scattering photoelectric sensing technology to detect the large smoke particles produced by slow-smoldering fires — providing reliable early warning before flames develop. The D7050 head mounts to the Bosch D7050-B6 base (sold separately) and integrates with Bosch addressable fire alarm control panels.
As a field-replaceable detector head, the D7050 simplifies maintenance and reduces service costs: when a detector fails or reaches end of service life, only the head needs to be replaced — the base and wiring remain in place. This is particularly valuable in large commercial installations with hundreds of detector points.
