Siemens (CAB2-BD) Medium enclosure inner & outer doors – black mounts to cab2-bb

The Siemens CAB2-BD doors are the inner and outer door set for the Siemens CAB2 medium enclosure. Specifically, Part Number 500-633008 fits the CAB2-BB and CAB2-RB two-row enclosure backboxes. Both doors in this set are black. Therefore, it is the standard door package for black CAB2 fire alarm cabinets.

Each CAB2 enclosure requires two doors: one outer and one inner. The CAB2-BD package supplies both. In addition, a red outer-door version is available as the CAB2-RD (Part Number 500-633755).

Siemens CAB2-BD Doors — Outer Door

The outer door consists of a door frame and two removable panels. Each panel position accepts a clear lens plate (OD-LP), a blank plate (OD-BP), or a vented grill plate (OD-GP). Also, each removable panel secures to the door with 10-32 nuts. The outer door attaches to the backbox with hinge pins and secures with a keyed latch. Furthermore, you can configure the outer door to open from either side by reversing the hinges.

Inner Door

The inner door has two openings for an operator interface and other modules. Eight threaded studs surround each opening, so equipment mounts directly to the door with 10-32 nuts. However, the inner door is permanently hinged on the left. It attaches to the backbox by hinge pins and closes with a quarter-turn fastener.
