The Resideo DT8035V is a wired DUAL TEC motion detector for security and intrusion systems. It combines two sensing technologies. As a result, it detects motion accurately while resisting false alarms.
How the Resideo DT8035V works
First, the detector uses both passive infrared (PIR) and microwave sensing. Both must trigger before it signals an alarm. Therefore, common false-alarm sources rarely set it off. In addition, selectable pet immunity ignores animals up to 100 lb.
The DT8035V covers roughly 40 by 56 feet when mounted correctly. Specifically, mount it between 6’9″ and 8’9″, with 7’6″ ideal. Also, it draws very little current, so it fits most hardwired panels.
