The Honeywell ECO1003 A is a conventional photoelectric (optical) smoke detector. It combines a state-of-the-art optical chamber with an application-specific integrated circuit. As a result, fires are detected quickly and accurately.
The ECO1003 A is part of the ECO1000 conventional series. Therefore, it pairs with compatible conventional fire alarm control panels. In addition, an LED status indicator on the housing shows operation at a glance.
Honeywell ECO1003 A Specifications
First, the housing material is PC/ABS plastic. Detector dimensions are 102 mm diameter and 32.5 mm height, without base. Then, weight is 75 grams without base. Furthermore, the unit complies with EN 54-7.
Also, the operating temperature range is -20°C to +60°C. Relative humidity is up to 95% non-condensing. The detector mounts on an ECO1000 series base sold separately.
Loop Sizing
Up to 32 detectors may be connected on a conventional fire loop. However, exact loop limits depend on local code and panel listings. Therefore, confirm device counts against the controlling panel’s installation manual.
