The Edwards EC2-H is a conventional 2-wire heat detector. It activates at a fixed temperature of 135°F.
This detector monitors ambient heat. Therefore, it triggers an alarm when temperatures reach the 135°F threshold. Heat detection suits areas where smoke detectors are impractical.
The EC2-H wires into 2-wire conventional initiating circuits. In addition, it is a genuine Edwards component. As a result, it fits existing Edwards conventional fire alarm systems.
