The Edwards EST SIGA-CT1 is the Signature Series standard addressable single input module and the highest-volume Edwards Signature input device in the field. The SIGA-CT1 monitors one supervised contact input on the Edwards Signature Loop Controller (SLC), enabling the fire alarm control panel to receive and identify alarm, supervisory, or monitor signals from any dry-contact initiating device including sprinkler waterflow switches, valve tampers, door contacts, duct detectors, and third-party sensors.
Each SIGA-CT1 occupies a single SLC address and reports contact state and device health in real time to the panel. The module supports the complete Signature Series intelligent device feature set: electronic addressing, automatic device type identification, and continuous loop diagnostics. Its supervised input circuit provides open and short fault detection, ensuring the integrity of the connected field wiring at all times.
The SIGA-CT1 is compatible with EST3, EST3X, iO64, iO500, and QuickStart QS1 fire alarm panels. For dual-input monitoring on one address point, see the more economical SIGA-CT2.
