The Siemens FDOOT441 is an intelligent multi-criteria fire detector for Cerberus PRO systems. It combines redundant optical and thermal sensors in one head. These sensors use Siemens ASAtechnology light-scattering detection. As a result, the detector responds to a wide range of fire types.
The FDOOT441 also distinguishes real fires from deceptive conditions. Therefore, it reduces nuisance alarms in demanding spaces. Common applications include data centers, healthcare facilities, and educational campuses.
Siemens FDOOT441 Detection Technology
Built-in ISOtechnology pairs the dual optical and thermal sensors. In addition, the detector supports up to 22 application profiles. Specifically, it can run as a high-sensitivity detector. It then meets NFPA 76 with a 0.2 %/ft pre-alarm and 1.0 %/ft alarm threshold. As a result, it qualifies for Very Early Warning Fire Detection.
