The Fire-Lite DP-MS2/4 is the optional dress panel for the Fire-Lite MS-2 and MS-4 conventional fire alarm control panels. Specifically, it covers the wiring area of the panel cabinet. As a result, the membrane switch and display remain accessible while the wiring is hidden.
In addition, the dress panel gives an installed MS-2 or MS-4 a cleaner, finished look.
What the Dress Panel Does
The DP-MS2/4 restricts access to system wiring inside the panel. However, it still allows full access to the membrane switch panel. Therefore, end users can operate the panel without exposing field wiring.
Specifically, the dress panel is listed as an optional accessory in both the MS-2 and MS-4 datasheets.
