The Fire-Lite WAV-CWL is a SWIFT wireless addressable A/V base for ceiling mount. Specifically, it provides power and signaling for an L-Series ceiling notification appliance. As a result, the base creates a wireless audio and visual notification point on a Fire-Lite SWIFT system.
In addition, the WAV-CWL is white to blend with standard ceiling finishes.
How the WAV-CWL Works
The base communicates wirelessly with the Fire-Lite Fire Alarm Control Panel. Then, when the FACP issues a notification command, the base drives the connected L-Series device.
Furthermore, the WAV-CWL supplies the power needed for the audio and visual signals. Therefore, no separate notification appliance circuit (NAC) wiring is required to that location.
Compatible Notification Appliances
The WAV-CWL works with all System Sensor L-Series ceiling-mount devices. Specifically, that includes ceiling speakers, strobes, and combination units in the L-Series family.
Power and Batteries
The WAV-CWL is battery-powered. Specifically, it uses eight CR-123A lithium batteries. In addition, the batteries are included with the base.
