The Edwards FSP1004GD is a 10-zone conventional fire alarm control panel. It delivers reliable fire detection and notification for commercial buildings. Moreover, its gray steel enclosure suits electrical rooms and monitoring areas.
This panel fits mid-sized offices, schools, and light industrial sites. Specifically, it supports conventional smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual pull stations. Therefore, it works well for both retrofit and new construction.
Zones, Circuits, and Power
The FSP1004GD provides 10 Class B Initiating Device Circuits (IDCs). In addition, it includes 4 Class B Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs). Together, these circuits cover detection and signaling across the building.
Each NAC supplies up to 2.0 amps. Furthermore, the panel delivers 3.5 amps of total NAC power. It runs on 120V AC primary power. Also, it holds two 17AH backup batteries for standby operation.
Built-In Communicator
An integrated DACT comes standard on this model. As a result, the panel reports events to a central station over phone lines. In addition, the DACT supports remote upload and download for programming.
