The Edwards G1AVRF is a Genesis G1 series wall horn-strobe in red with “FIRE” marking. First, it combines a multi-candela strobe with a temporal-pattern horn in a single 1-gang compact appliance. As a result, it covers both audible and visible notification in NFPA 72-required occupancies.
Edwards G1AVRF field-configurable settings
Field-configurable switches under the cover let the installer pick the candela output, the horn dB level, and the horn pattern. As a result, one part number covers many notification scenarios. First, the candela switch selects 15, 30, 75, or 110 cd. Then, a jumper cut selects high (default) or low dB horn. Furthermore, a second jumper cut switches the horn from temporal to steady for coded-circuit use.

Agency listings
UL 1971 (visible signal for hearing impaired), UL 1638 (general visible signaling), UL 464 (audible signal), ULC S525, ULC S526, CSFM, CE, FCC, and MEA. In addition, the unit complies with the ADA Code of Federal Regulation Chapter 28 Part 36 Final Rule when installed per manufacturer guidelines.
Synchronization sources
Use the G1M, G1M-RM, EG1M-RM, SIGA-CC1S, SIGA-MCC1S, BPS6A, or BPS10A to drive horn-silence and strobe sync. As a result, a single Signal Master can coordinate every appliance on the circuit.
