The Genesis 63601102 is a 23 AWG, 4-pair Category 6 riser network cable in a yellow PVC jacket. It is the yellow variant of the Genesis GEN29 family, manufactured by Southwire.
Important: This is a Category 6 network/data cable. It is not a fire alarm cable. As a result, it is not rated FPLR and should not be substituted for UL 1424 power-limited fire alarm circuits. For fire alarm wiring, use a UL 1424–listed FPLR or FPLP cable instead.
Genesis 63601102 — Construction and Specs
First, the conductors are solid bare copper at 23 AWG. Then, each pair is insulated with polypropylene or polyethylene. A pull rip cord assists jacket stripping. In addition, the cable carries Countdown® length markings for usage tracking.
The outer PVC jacket is rated 300 V and -20 °C to 75 °C. Furthermore, the cable is sweep-tested to 350 MHz per TIA-568.2-D Category 6. The 1000 ft length ships in a REELEX pull box.

Where It Belongs
Use this cable for Cat 6 data and voice runs inside risers, in metal raceways per NEC 300.22(B), or in non-air-handling spaces. However, do not install in air-handling plenums — for that, specify a CL3P/CMP plenum-rated Cat 6 cable instead.
