The Gamewell GWRCE-95 is a control device for remote relay control on Gamewell-FCI fire alarm systems. It supports both surface and flush mounting.
What the Gamewell GWRCE-95 Does
First, the device interfaces a fire alarm control panel to an auxiliary load through a relay output. Then, the panel can command the relay in response to programmed alarm or supervisory conditions. As a result, the GWRCE-95 is used for elevator recall, magnetic door release, HVAC shutdown, or auxiliary annunciation.
Mounting Options
The GWRCE-95 supports two mounting configurations. Specifically, surface mounting works where conduit and enclosure space are accessible. However, flush mounting fits the unit into a wall cavity for a finished installation. Therefore, the same part covers both retrofit and new-construction needs.
Compatibility
The GWRCE-95 is built for the Gamewell-FCI fire alarm platform. In addition, confirm the panel firmware and SLC compatibility against the current Gamewell-FCI documentation before ordering for a specific job.
Application Notes
Common applications include elevator recall to designated floors, magnetic door hold-open release on alarm, and HVAC fan shutdown signaling. Also, the relay output should be wired through a properly rated external power source for any non-dry-contact load.
