The System Sensor HCRL-LF is a red, ceiling-mount low-frequency sounder. It produces a 520 Hz tone for fire alarm notification. As a result, it meets low-frequency audible signaling requirements.
Why the System Sensor HCRL-LF Uses Low Frequency
First, current codes require a 520 Hz signal in many sleeping areas. This low-frequency tone wakes sleeping occupants more reliably. Therefore, the HCRL-LF suits hotels, dormitories, and similar spaces.
In addition, the sounder produces a 520 Hz ± 10% square-wave tone. It mounts on the ceiling for even sound coverage. Also, a rotary switch selects tone and output settings.
Installation Features
The HCRL-LF uses a plug-in design with minimal back-box intrusion. As a result, installation stays fast and consistent. Furthermore, the low current draw simplifies notification circuit design.
