The Notifier HPF-PS10 is a 10-amp remote power supply with battery charger for fire alarm systems. Specifically, it connects to any 12 or 24 volt fire alarm control panel (FACP) as a remote NAC and auxiliary power source. Alternatively, it can be used as a standalone fire alarm power supply. As a result, the HPF-PS10 lets designers extend NAC capacity without upgrading the host panel.

Model Variants
The HPF-PS10 ships in three primary variants. The HPF-PS10 is the standard 120 VAC red enclosure model. The HPF-PS10B is the same unit in a black enclosure. The HPF-PS10E is the 240 VAC variant for international installations. Therefore, verify the input voltage and color requirement before ordering.
For systems that need less capacity, instead use the HPF-PS6. The HPF-PS6 is the 6-amp sibling in the same product family. As a result, the designer can right-size the power supply to the NAC load without over-buying.
Auxiliary Power Applications
The HPF-PS10 also supplies auxiliary 24 VDC power. Specifically, it powers four-wire smoke detectors, annunciators, door holders, and other fire alarm peripherals. In addition, the auxiliary output can be configured as constant or resettable per project requirement.
NAC Configuration
The 10-amp model provides up to seven NAC output circuits. Each circuit is individually configurable up to 3.0 A maximum, power-limited per UL 864. Furthermore, the standard configuration is Class B; Class A operation requires the ZNAC-PS option card. As a result, the HPF-PS10 fits both simple Class B retrofit jobs and more demanding Class A specifications.
